Norwood Green 100 Club
The recent winners of the 100 Club are :- 92 The Ramsden Family, 90 Val Lister and 21 A Taylor.
The 100 Club was formed in November 2007, the main aim being to raise funds to assist in the purchase and maintenance of the Village Hall. I am pleased to report that during the last 3 years the Fund Raising Committee has made donations amounting to £6,000.00, to the Norwood Green Village Hall Charitable Trust. This is after paying out to members £7,200.00 in monthly prizes.
At a recent meeting it was decided that, with regret, the 100 Club will cease with effect from 31 October 2010. It will therefore be necessary for all members who pay by monthly or annual standing order to cancel their payments with their own bank/building society after the 1 st October 2010. We appreciate that this may be disappointing, especially for the members who have been unsuccessful in winning the monthly prize, but due to the dwindling membership it has now become unprofitable to continue.
On behalf of the Committee we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed to the 100 Club over the past 3 years and for helping raise such a fantastic amount for the Village Hall.
