RAISING FUNDS FOR THE VILLAGE AMENITIES
As well as being a village celebration, the aim of the Summer Fete is to raise money for the upkeep of the village greens so they can continue to be green spaces to be proud of and enjoyed by visitors to Norwood Green. Also to install a defibrillator in the village
A CrowdFunder appeal has been set up to support the fundraising efforts
THIS APPEAL IS NOW LIVE
Donate to the appeal and you could come away with the meal vouchers, golf vouchers, hampers, Norwood Green organic honey 2021 vintage, and much more.
You can buy a raffle ticket for as little as £1, or win a Mova Globe by buying a ‘a key to the world’, or you can dig deep and fund the road closure for the day of the Summer Fete.
There’s something for every budget
MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK
This fete and car show is being run by a small team of volunteers and we need your help.
We have put together a lovely long list of ways people can help this event to run smoothly.
This could be anything from helping to set up on the day, to lending a trestle table to baking cakes for the homemade cake stall, to judging the dog show, to making a model chimpanzee, to sponsoring the prizes for the children’s games
All offers to help will be gratefully received
VISITING THE FETE
The road through Norwood Green will be closed for the duration of the Fete, with vehicular access to the Old White Beare and for residents only.
As there will be limited parking in the vicinity of the village for visitors, please consider walking to the Fete or using public transport.
Dogs are welcome on the day and especially to join in the dog show. Please pick up after your dog and use the many bins in the village for dog poo and litter.
Many of the stalls and games will be run by village residents with limited access to card or phone payment readers. If you can, please bring cash so you can join in the fun.
